Brewers North 12, at Tigers 6
The Brewers got their 2nd victory of the year with a 12-6 victory over the Tigers. Tyler Fitch got his first Brewer victory with 5 solid innings, recording 7 K's. Rocca earned the save with 4 innings of relief. And most impressively the Brewers' pitching staff recorded no BBs and no HBPs ... which has to be a team first. Offensively the Brewers were lead by Kosach's 2 hits including a grandslam, for 5 total RBI's. Bird had an interesting line ... o'fer with no BB's, but 3 runs scored and 2 SB's. Dell finally started swinging the bat well with 2 solid hits and a warning track fly ... nice to have you back! And Thirsty Joe had another productive game with 3 runs scored. The Tigers pitching staff battled hard (with 10 K's) but were undone with some untimely errors.
